BigFix is our patch management and software installation package. This software lets us deploy updates and new softwares to all of our systems at Extension. These updates will keep your system safe and functioning. You may notice a new icon on your taskbar as part of this process as shown here.
Once the software or update is installed you will be prompted to reboot your computer within 12 hours. This should give you time to save anything you are working on before your computer reboots. You will get a message once the install completes that looks like this.
